Example 1 — Bar graph
Apples 6, Bananas 9, Mangoes 12. Which fruit was chosen the least?
Solution: Apples, with only 6.
Example 2 — Pictograph value
Each ★ stands for 4 children. A row has 5 stars. How many children?
Solution: 5 × 4 = 20 children.
