Example 1 — Equilateral triangle
How many sides of an equilateral triangle are equal?
Solution: All three sides are equal in length.
Example 2 — Congruence test
Two triangles each have sides of 5 cm, 6 cm and 7 cm. Are they congruent?
Solution: Yes — three pairs of equal sides (SSS) means the triangles are congruent.
