Example 1 — Find the mean
Find the mean of 4, 6, 8, 10.
Solution: Sum = 28; count = 4; mean = 28 ÷ 4 = 7.
Example 2 — Best chart
You want to show the share of total marks scored by 4 subjects. Which chart is best?
Solution: A pie chart — each slice shows a fraction of the total.
